I feel like doing this sometimes.
My threshold for stupidity can be very high (ask my wife, it’s true!) but even Job can be sorely tested when overwhelmed by stupendous stupidity.
Another reason why I’d never be in politics, then.
Sooner or Later…
Just read the Qur’an 9:55 today, and it gave me great comfort, knowing that Allah has promised us all fair rezeki according to our sincere and honest efforts:
فَلا تُعجِبكَ أَموٰلُهُم وَلا أَولٰدُهُم ۚ إِنَّما يُريدُ اللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُم بِها فِى الحَيوٰةِ الدُّنيا وَتَزهَقَ أَنفُسُهُم وَهُم كٰفِرونَ
(English-YusufAli translation)

Let not their wealth nor their (following in) sons dazzle thee: in reality Allah's plan is to punish them with these things in this life, and that their souls may perish in their (very) denial of Allah.
For all of you out there, enriching yourself on ill-gotten gains and siphoned money from the rakyat, remember that Allah is Ever-Watchful and Just. Bak kata Johnny Cash: “sooner or later God’ll cut you down!”
